The Night Marchers
See You In Magic
Vagrant

When you are John "Speedo" Reis, the charismatic cult of personality partially responsible for thundering acts like the Hot Snakes and Rocket From The Crypt (both now sadly deceased), your audience is already predisposed to adoring your project if it's good and cutting you a break if it's not. Thankfully, the work of the recently spawned Night Marchers shows that Reis still holds an ace when it comes to producing consistently excellent output, spilling his sly-eyed moxy over tightly wound rock 'n' roll about subjects as diverse as bleeding, sleeping, and "deadbeating" (whatever that is), with an occasional surf riff passing through. While there is nothing here to leave you awestruck once the commotion has calmed, there are enough crackling tracks contained on this disc to coax hundreds of shoulders and mouths into motion once the party is still young.
